Thursday morning's CRP was 1.9 and our Doctor said.....Pack your bags!!! Cross your fingers, knock on wood, we are coming home today. Just waiting for one more exam and lab results, we already peeked, CRP this AM is 1.3. We can't believe it, so excited.
Yesterday was a very busy, fun day.
Ya Freakin Hoo!!! Serious tears here...so happy! Lots of prayers have gone out for you at the Olson house....lots of little voices asking Heavenly Father to help Cassie get better so she can be home for Christmas. So humbling to know He hears us!!!
ReplyDeleteOn another note-LOOK AT YOU JAZZ DANCER! You go girl! Had to take a 2nd look...you look just like em! Love the pics and the news. Let me know if you need me to grab you some milk at Harmons..or a diet coke...or anything! Love you all!
I woke up to your mom's text this morning with the WONDERFUL NEWS that Cassie is coming home! OH HAPPY DAY!! I am thrilled beyond words that Cassie (and all of you) get to be home for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteCassie's scars look pretty dramatic but I know in no time you won't even beable to see them. Jim had his surgery just 9 months ago and he had a huge scar and his face was paralyzed and now you can't tell that anything was ever done. So I will be praying for that same miracle for Cassie...but for now, I'm just so happy that she gets to wake up on Christmas morning in her own home with her own family (although having the Jazz "family" come for a visit looks pretty fun). I hope you'll continue to update her blog from time to time so we can watch her progress. Love to all of you and Merry Christmas!!
Okay I have been in tears all morning :) so happy for your family! Who knew a 2 year old could teach us so much about faith and prayer. Love you guys and we are so happy to have you back in the neighborhood :)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe it. It's happening. She's coming home. I can't stop crying. Annie is so confused about my tears. I'll never forget our very own Christmas miracle as long as I live.
ReplyDeleteThis is the best news. We've been praying for this day to come for awhile, and it looks like it's finally here! We love that gorgeous little Cassidy and your beautiful family. Miracles certainly have not ceased; what a special Christmas miracle from Heavenly Father and the Savior. Merry Christmas!!
ReplyDeletePS...you look just like em except for the no skanky clothes look....break out the tank top & we have a jazz dancer...can you dance??? ;)
ReplyDeleteWoot! Woot! We have been praying all week that she could go home for Christmas. Tyson's response when I told her you got to go home "See I told ya!"
ReplyDeleteThose are some very impressive battle wounds. We'll keep praying she will keep healing and stay healthy. Merry Christmas!!
An absolute Christmas miracle! I am so overjoyed and touched. Love you.
ReplyDeleteWe are so happy she is coming home :) Your family will all be together again for Christmas! That is the best gift for Christmas! If you need anything do not hesitate to ask! So happy!!!!
ReplyDeleteTears of joy when I read this post. Can't tell you how happy I am that she gets to finally go home. I'm so thrilled for all of you -- that you will get to spend Christmas together as a family. I'm sure it's a Christmas you'll never forget. Xoxo
ReplyDeleteYippee!!! I was so hoping you'd be able to be home for Christmas! Continued prayers your way that all will go well and she'll continue to get better and better. Have a wonderful Christmas at home together!
ReplyDeleteYay!!!!! So happy for you. It will be a wonderful Christmas just to be home in the same house! We will keep praying for Cassie. Keep us updated on her wonderful progress!! What a beautiful tough little princess!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I am so happy for your Christmas Miracle. What a blessing it will be to wake up in your own home as a complete family on Christmas morning.
ReplyDeleteCassie- you are an amazing little angel. What a trooper you have been through this whole ordeal. You keep fighting and continue to get stronger.
Crying here as well. I'm so happy for you all. My brother was seriously injured in a car accident 12 years ago and came home on Christmas Eve, I'll never forget it, neither will your family with sweet Cassie.
